"One of the boards has a fast reload for teppo armed troops. In my mod teppo armed ashigaru can only fire once unless they use this ability. Not every clan will use teppo, gaijin weapon that they are! Teppo are same stats as crossbow otherwise.
Hatamoto are special samurai/hearthguard limited to one unit and have armour 6 against shooting and one extra attack die. Samurai are hearthguard Trained Ashigaru and ronin warriors with levy ashigaru at the bottom. The ninja ryuha are slightly different and the regents may only have access to one or the other."
